Virgin Money Giving, the 100% not-for-profit fundraising website, and the Women’s Sports Trust are joining forces to tell the greatest stories of women’s sport in a series of short films entitled: Giving 100%.
The series features superstars from the world of women’s sport. Standby for revelations, laughter, drama, stories, remembered pain and glory. The athletes discuss when, how and why they came to give 100% to their sport – and what happened next.
The fourth film features Katherine Grainger, GB’s most decorated female Olympian with 5 medals achieved in consecutive Games, along with Sir Steve Redgrave, giving his view of Katherine’s amazing achievements.

Jo Barnett, Executive Director of Virgin Money Giving, said:
Like our sports women who give 100% in their chosen field, we see Virgin Money Giving fundraisers give their all to raise money for charity every day. They give 100%, so we think it’s only right that we help them get more money to their chosen cause by being 100% not-for-profit. We are delighted to be supporting the Women’s Sport Trust bringing these fantastic stories to life through “Giving 100%”. It’s a perfect fit.”
Women’s Sport Trust:
We’re thrilled to be joining forces with Virgin Money Giving on the “Giving 100%” series. These fabulous short films put a spotlight on role model athletes telling honest, funny and moving stories about what it takes to give 100% in sport and beyond. It is the sort of collaboration that shows what’s possible when an organisation like Virgin Money Giving can relate to what we’re doing and chooses to promote sport, gender equality and fundraising.”
