Introducing our new Rainbow Credit Card in support of Stonewall

Virgin Money is proud to introduce a new credit card design for everyone who shares our belief in equality. The Rainbow Card gives customers the opportunity to show their support for the LGBT community and raise money for Stonewall, the LGBT rights charity.

At Virgin Money, we believe passionately in diversity, equality and love. These are core values to the Virgin Brand and something we at Virgin Money we try to live by through both our internal and external actions. For this very reason, the first of our dynamic card launches features the rainbow card – proudly displaying a symbol synonymous with these values.

It was important to us that the Rainbow card gave back and supported the LGBT community that it represented. With that in mind we have partnered with Stonewall, arguably the most authoritative voice is driving awareness and acceptance of the LGBT community. We will make a donation of £1 to Stonewall for every transaction made using a rainbow card in the first three months following account opening, up to a total of £100,000.

Virgin Money Creative Director and Executive Sponsor of Virgin Moneys Affinity Pride Network Tim Arthur said

From the day I joined Virgin Money, it’s been clear just how valued diversity and inclusion is across the business. It is a core part of how we work as a Virgin business. Coming from a media background, it’s actually been eye-opening to see how closely Virgin Money, operating in the more traditional financial services sector, has embraced diversity and engagement.

We hope you love the new Virgin Money Rainbow Credit Card as much as we do. It’s much more than a gorgeous design – it’s a statement, a pledge and a way to raise money for Stonewall, an amazing charity that’s been doing great work for equality since 1989.

If you’d like to show your support and use the Rainbow card with pride, find out how to apply for yours here.
