Virgin Money London Marathon Expo

Over the next few days, thousands of people will pass through the doors of the 2018 Virgin Money London Marathon Expo as runners from all over the world register to run in Sunday’s big event. Remember it’s not just for the runners, Expo has something to offer everyone so head on over to the international exhibition and conference centre in East London, or as it’s more commonly known ExCel, and enjoy what’s on offer. Don’t be overwhelmed by its size – everyone working at Expo is super friendly and there to make your experience the best, so if you have any questions just ask.

The most important things (apart from having a lovely time) is to register and collect your pack from the registration area. The area is cleverly situated as soon as you walk in the hall and once you get your pack you are free to enjoy everything that Expo has to offer.

Shopping is a form of cardio

You can shop till you drop at Expo with most athletic brands represented in the main hall. You can pick up anything from sports socks to the latest GPS devices. One of the biggest stands is the Virgin Money London Marathon Superstore with this year’s range of New Balance souvenir and technical clothing.

There are so many stands at Expo: international races, charities, running magazines and a vast range of health and fitness products and services. This exhibitor’s list will help you get the most out of your time at Expo.

Centre Stage at the Expo

Be sure to visit the Centre Stage at Expo where you can listen to talks and interviews about the big day as well as getting the chance to meet the celebrities running the marathon. There will also be the opportunity to hear from the world’s fastest marathon runners who will be pounding the streets of London this Sunday hoping to cross the finish line first. The Experts Show is presented every two hours and is fantastic opportunity to hear valuable advice to help prepare you for the main event on Sunday.

Sports Massage

Yes, you can even get a massage at Expo. It’s more stimulation than deep tissue so don’t worry about affecting your run on Sunday. The sessions range from just £15 for 15 minutes; there are 25 fully qualified therapists on hand to look after you and they all have an interest in running, so why not give it a go?

The Virgin Money Challenge Zone

We are here again this year with our own particular Expo experience for all visitors to take on their own #marathonchallenge. There are lots of photo opportunities, games, and experiences that can even help to boost the funds for your chosen charity. We can’t wait to see you.
