The ballot is open for the 2019 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100

It’s that time of year again; the online registration system for the ballot for places in the 2019 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 opened yesterday via their website.

The Mayor of London’s 2019 Prudential RideLondon festival of cycling will take place over the weekend of 3-4 August 2019 with the 100-mile sportive on Sunday 4 August. Although the exact route has not yet been confirmed, you can be sure you’ll be seeing some fantastic scenery and passing some iconic landmarks.

The 2018 event attracted over 100,000 cyclists to the roads of London and Surrey and have so far raised a record breaking £3 million for charity through Virgin Money Giving. The total is expected to increase further as donations continue to come in.

Prudential RideLondon is the world’s greatest festival of cycling and attracted over 100,000 cyclists to the roads of London and Surrey over 28-29 July.

Hugh Brasher, Event Director for Prudential RideLondon, said:

The Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 is now the most popular sportive in the world with more people applying to ride this event than any other ride on the international calendar. More than 125,000 riders have crossed the famous finish line on The Mall since the event began in 2013, raising tens of millions of pounds for charity on the way.”

The registration system will remain open until 80,000 registrations have been received or until Friday 4 January 2019; whichever is the earlier.
