Where do you host your client meetings? Where do you head when you need to escape the office for a bit of thinking time?
Chances are, it’s not your bank.
But Virgin Money is turning business banking on its head with its exclusive Glasgow Lounge.
It’s a smart building with free soft drinks, tea, coffee and other refreshments. Plus it has its own community room – an ideal place for SMEs and charities to meet. If you’re a charity registered with Virgin Money Giving, you can book it free of charge and if you’re a business, you’ll just be asked for a small donation to Virgin Money’s charity of the year, which this year is Dementia Revolution.
The community room seats 12-16 people boardroom-style, or 35 people theatre-style. It’s equipped with a flip chart and a 42-inch TV, which is easy to connect to laptops for presentations.
You don’t need to be a customer to use the community room – in fact, all non-customer visitors will get a 6-day pass so they can enjoy the Lounge on other occasions if they want to.
Iain McGregor, events and promotions manager at the Glasgow Lounge, said,
The community room here at our Lounge is the ideal place for anyone – from customers to businesses to charities – to hold a meeting or get a group together, in stylish surroundings, with free snacks and drinks at your disposal. We encourage people to come in and see what we have to offer. We’re looking forward to welcoming you.
Find the Glasgow Lounge at 145 Queen St, Glasgow, G1 3BJ. For more information, email Iain McGregor or pop in and take a look round – you can speak to one of the team to find out how to become a customer or book the Community room.
