Glasgow: Know Your Nutrition – The Facts and Myths
29 January @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pmFree
Join us at the Glasgow Lounge on Tuesday 29 January for “Everything you wanted to know about nutrition, but were too afraid to ask!
Well…weren’t sure who to ask?!”
We all see the confusing headlines:
‘Coconuts are dangerous’; ‘fat causes heart attacks’; ‘green tea extract led to a liver transplant’; ‘ eat less, move more’; ‘don’t eat carbs’; ‘coffee will kill you’ etc ect.
Have you’ve ever wondered: ‘does fat make you fat?’ ‘What is a starchy carbohydrate?’
‘What is a probiotic and where do I find it?’, ‘Is breakfast the most important meal of the day?’, ‘Why do I gain weight when I eat less than my partner?’ ‘What makes super foods super?’
It goes on and on… it’s a mine field!
Is it just nonsense? You may even feel you may as well ignore it all and hope for the best.
If you have ever thought about any of the above and what the science and research suggests, then why not come along on Tuesday 29 January 2019. 6.00pm – 8.00pm to find out more.
Join Christine Baker – a registered Nutrition Practitioner and member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapy and Lifestyle Medicine in a relaxed environment where you can ask any questions you have and find out more.
This could be just what you need to a ‘New Year, New You!
Looking forward to seeing you there!
