Glasgow: Meditation, Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence

Join us at the Glasgow Lounge for an evening of ‘Meditation, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence’ on Wednesday 9 January 6pm – 8pm.
Decreasing stress, building resilience, and not only maintaining mental health, but improving it too! What better way to start the year than to learn these incredible life skills?
This evening session hosted by Kay Young – award-winning mindfulness and well-being teacher -will cover lots of interesting theories, practices, and topics, and is broken into three segments:
• The first segment will give participants an in-depth introduction to mindfulness and emotional intelligence; diving into definitions, theories and real-life examples, whilst incorporating aspects of neuroscience; providing scientific evidence to what’s covered.
• The second segment will be opportunity to experience meditations together; allowing for first-hand experience of meditation practices.
• Lastly, we’ll close the evening with a group discussion, where participants can ask any questions they may have and receive support and guidance on how best to take forward their mindfulness practice.
