Artist Dan Llywelyn Hall has sat with most of the subjects over the past six years. \nThe exhibition coincides with the celebration of The Queen’s 90th birthday 9-15 May\, 2016. \nAround 20 portraits will be displayed between two venues: Virgin Money London Lounges: Haymarket & Eagle Place during opening hours. The public are invited to attend the exhibitions. \nA diverse range of sitters include: Her Majesty the Queen\, Dame Barbara Windsor\, Michael Palin\, Dr John Cooper Clarke\, Henry Allingham\, Amy Winehouse\, Lily Cole\, Douglas Slocombe\, Louis de Bernieres\, Sir Roy Strong\, Karl Johnson\, Will Self\, Griff Rhys Jones\, Rowan Williams. ALL previously unseen and all from sittings. \nThere will be a programme of ticketed events scheduled over the week. \nTo commemorate the anniversary of the end of WW1 both the War Memorials Trust and the Victoria Cross Trust will be the charitable beneficiaries of the exhibition.
